Step One: Domain Information Needed
Information Needed
- GoDaddy Customer ID
- Email Address that is associated with GoDaddy.
It is important to use the email address that is used with your GoDaddy account so the domain can transfer correctly. Also we need your GoDaddy Customer ID. You can find your Customer ID here:
- Login to GoDaddy, then select the My Account link at the top right.
- The drop down menu will show your customer information on the left.

Transfer
- After the payment has been made, we will begin to prepare the site files to transfer to you and to transfer the domain to your GoDaddy account.
- When we use the GoDaddy credentials given, the domain is transferred to your account.
Confirmation Email
- GoDaddy sends you an email letting you know about a pending transfer to your account.
- You MUST accept the transfer by clicking on the link in the email in order for it to transfer to you successfully.
Note: The security code link in the email that GoDaddy sends you is only good for 10 days. If you want after 10 days to accept the transfer, you can login to your account manager to see the pending transfer.
Log in to your Account Manager.
- Next to Domains, click Launch.
- From the Domains menu, click Pending Account Changes, and then click Incoming Account Changes.
- Complete one of the following:
- If the domain name displays in the list — Select the domain name, and then click Accept.
- If the domain name does not display in the list — Click Accept Emailed Changes, enter the following, click Next, and then proceed through checkout of the free transaction:
- Transaction ID — The identification code from the email we sent you.
- Security Code — The security code from the email we sent you.
It may take a few minutes for your domain name to appear in your account. To view the domain, hover over the Domains tab and click All Domains.
